 National Hero Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan Passed away Revered as the father of Pakistan's nuclear bomb passed away in Islamabad after a brief illness the atomic scientist is hailed as a national hero for building Pakistan's first atomic bomb khan launched Pakistan on the path to becoming a nuclear weapon power in the early 1970s however in 2004 he was mired in controversy, khan has named the global nuclear proliferation scandal that involved the sale of nuclear secrets to North Korea Iran and Libya
